Ethan's 3rd Birthday

A little out of sequence but I noticed that I did not mention Ethan's 3rd Birthday Party. We did a Spiderman/Elmo theme. I guess that is what you end up with when you want input from a 3 year old. We had a Spiderman moon walk and Spiderman and Elmo cupcakes. The day was full of good food, good fun and good friends and family!

We also took cupcakes to our classroom on Thursday for our friends! What an exciting time.

Texas Food and Wine Festival @ Salt Lick

Mom, John, Kassi, Corrie, Terri and I went to the 24th Annual Food and Wine Festival at Salt Lick on Sunday, April 19th. It was a lot of fun...lots of wine, beer, liquer, good food and T-shirts! (Maybe this will teach John to quit taking stupid pictures!)

Easter 2009

We did the Burnet/De Leon run for Easter this year. This was Kate's first Easter and Ethan has really gotten the whole egg hunting thing down. After having about 4 different Easter egg hunts this year (school, with Mema, De Leon and Aunt Sissy's house), he really began to get selective in the eggs he wanted. He would pick up the egg, shake it, open it, and if he liked what was inside he would take the goods and leave the opened egg on the ground. He reached a point and said, "I am just done," sat on the porch edge and watched everyone else finish hunting. Too cute and a lot of fun this year! Here are some pictures we took.
