Hello Again - My Friends

Hello All,

I have not blogged in several months and am trying to get back into it. I started a new job - which I am LOVING - and have not had the time or energy to keep this up. Now that I am into the swing of things - I think - I will try and keep this going.

With the new job I am having to get up around 4:30 AM and need to leave the house around 6:30 AM with the kids. My GOAL was to get up at 4 AM - Run - Start getting ready at 4:30AM - Be dressed at 6:00AM - Get the kids up and dressed and fed - Get out the door by 6:30AM ish. Get the kids to daycare and me to the office by 8:00AM. So far so good...less the 4AM run. STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS.

If I have not said...I LOVE MY JOB! Not a look that will appear in Cosmo or Lucky.

I now work with Whole Foods Market Southwest Region Store Development Team. Very cool and am really enjoying it!

Anyways, I will keep chatting - soon!

Kate's New Hair Style

Kate has always had a pretty good head of hair. It is growing out and now starting to hang in her face. I can't stand that - so we have found a new hair style. Pretty cute!

Kate's First Birtday!!!

On Saturday, November 14th we had Kate's First Birthday party! It was a great day...Kate looked so cute in her special birthday outfit, wonderful cupcakes and great friends and family. I can not believe how fast the time has gone...1 YEAR!!!

Our sweet little birthday girl!

Addi's 3rd Birthday!!!

We went to Nani's house to celebrate Addi's 3rd Birthday!! Kids had a lot of fun, good cupcakes and pizza. I, unfortunately did not get a lot pictures as it was a little crazy with 7 kids running around.

New Cars Seats

Ethan has outgrown his current car seat that he has had since he was 1 year old. We have passed that one down to Kate and Ethan got a NEW big boy car seat. You can either use the harness or when he turns 4, you can use the seat belt (he may have to be 5 before I am ready for that).

Trick-or-Treating

You would think that roughly 10 hours would be enough time to plan out the final 2 hours before Trick-or-Treating...guess I need more time. Plan was to eat about 6 - 6:30 pm so we could leave the house about 7pm ish. Needless to say the plan to not come to fruition. We still had a good time!

Uncle John, Ethan and Daddy Trick-or-Treating...what a weird group

Pumpkin Carving...or something like that

We waited a few days before we carved our pumpkins...I am posting late, we did carve them BEFORE Halloween! Anyways, Daddy got all the 'necessary' tools to carve the pumpkins while I put Kate down for the night. Ethan was very excited as this was his first year to be involved in the process.

Daddy and Ethan before the carving begins...you'll notice the DRILL - don't remember using that for CARVING a pumpkin! Daddy thought it would be easier - was not too bad.

Ethan digging out pumpking guts...

See - Pumpkin guts...

Final product...Not too bad - Not too good!

What is important is we had fun! Hopefully our skills will improve for next year...
